DIRECTING

Below is a selection of jobs that I have directed either working solo or in a small team. While I mainly work as a freelance animator, I always love the challenge of directing and it’s something I wish to do more of as my career progresses.

I was approached by Touch Media to create an animated re-telling of how the credit card company ‘Diner’s Club’ was founded. This was to celebrate the 75th anniversary and was played on the screens at New York Times Square. Client: Diners Club

I directed this educational explainer video showing how Cocoa beans are taken from the fruit and made into hot chocolate. Made for media company ITN, this video went on to be part of National Geographic’s educational video library. The turn around on this video was quick, so the challenge was to create a style of animation that could be done quickly, but still capture the atmosphere of South America.

The final animation was played in New York Times Square, multiple exports and layouts of the same animation were required for the different screen

I was asked to direct some animated segments for the 2019 Washington Jewish Film Festival trailer. Made not long after graduating from Uni, it has an energetic and hand drawn feel which my personal work often contains.
